Needle generates strong box office in Turkey

Australian horror film Needle has taken $US135,000 in 10 days on 62 screens ($2177 per screen) in Turkey.

Needle is about a killer who uses an 18th century machine with supernatural powers to terrorize students at a local college.

The strong box office performance keeps Needle in Turkey’s top 6 films for the second week behind just Harry Potter, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Smurfs, Tranformers and Larry Crowne.
