New Republique restructures and lets go ECD Becky McOwen-Banks
Sydney digital agency New Republique has parted ways with executive creative director Becky McOwen-Banks after just eight months, making the role redundant as the agency restructures.
McOwen-Banks was appointed as the agency’s first ECD following a global search, however New Republique CEO Nima Yassini said she hasn’t been the “right fit” for the agency.
“It just didn’t work out, it wasn’t a right fit from a cultural and business perspective. At the end of the day, we are a small business and when it doesn’t fit you’ve just got to make the cut,” he said.
