New series of Big Bang a hit for Nine on Monday

The new series of The Big Bang Theory was a hit for Nine last night with both episodes fetching more than 1.5 million and ranking as the top two most-watched for the night.   

The 7:30 episode received an audience of 1.505 million followed by another new episode at 8pm with 1.606 million, according to preliminary metro ratings from OzTam.

A repeat episode at 7pm received 1.122 million.

According to a survey by Roy Morgan last month, The Big Bang Theory is Australia’s most-loved show.
