New version of Industry SuperFunds ‘Compare the Pair’ campaign launched
Industry SuperFunds has launched two new ads that build on the ‘Compare the Pair’ campaign, marking a decade since it was launched.
The new version of the ads, created by The Shannon Company, compare the average net returns of retail and industry superfunds over a period of ten years, unlike the previous campaign which used forward-projections to estimate a person’s super amount.

Chief executive of Industry Super Australia, David Whiteley said the ads are timely, coming amidst government proposals to amend consumer protection laws regarding financial advice.

Calling on the ACCC to investigate these “Industry Super Funds” (a.k.a: ACTU jobs for the boys funds) and the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it fine print on these ads, which reveal how odious the comparisons are.
