Sad to hear it, but at the same time, I had never even heard of the paper. The Newcastle weekly paper (free) seems more than enough anyway.
I wanted to support Newcastle Sunday but only bought two issues (1st/3rd). Content just didn’t reach the mark…can’t explain what I expected from Sunday read but issues left me feeling uninspired.
I am so sorry that the Newcastle Sunday is no longer available. I bought it each week and the content so good it took me a couple of days to read it. The quality of the paper was good, the print didn’t come off onto my hands and it was set out so well, and the price was great.
It was also lovely to see some familiar reporting names .
I am truly sorry it has come to this, perhaps a resurrection down the track.
Congratulations to all who made it happen for a while anyway.
