News Corp increases cover price and digital subscription rates for The Australian

The AustralianNews Corp’s national broadsheet The Australian has upped its newspaper and new digital and weekend bundle subscription rates, with CEO Nicholas Gray asserting the paper “continues to represent exceptional value”.

The Australia’s newspaper retail prices have gone up from $2.50 on weekdays to $2.70, with the Saturday edition rising from $3.30 to $3.50.

“We are sustaining our investment in high quality unique journalism, including the launch of The Australian Business Review since our last price rise, and believe our newspapers continue to represent exceptional value,” Gray told Mumbrella.
