NewsLifeMedia boss installs ex-LifeStyle Channels colleague Sharyn Whitten as comms chief

NewsLifeMedia boss Nicole Sheffield has installed a new director of communications – former LifeStyle Channels group colleague Sharyn Whitten.

Whitten was with Foxtel’s LifeStyle Channels group for over 10 years, latterly as head of publicity and talent management.

She replaces Kat Vidovic, who headed up communications for what used to be known as News Magazines. Freelance PR Barbara Messer filled in the interim while Vidovic was on maternity leave.

The move is the latest in a string of people moves instigated by Sheffield, who was appointed CEO in March.
