Nicole McInnes to leave Ovo as company ditches CMO role
Nicole McInnes is on the hunt for her next role after a restructure at Ovo, which includes removing the chief marketing officer function, Mumbrella can reveal.
McInnes – who has spent time at Adshel, Pandora, Eharmony and Woolworths over the past five years – said she was disappointed but looking forward to her next adventure.
“Of course I’m disappointed but start ups are as much a great creative experience as a rollercoaster ride, and I thank the founders for the opportunity to experience the breadth that Ovo as a hybrid telco-broadcaster, had to offer,” she told Mumbrella in a statement. “As a shareholder, I support the business restructure as it’s what the business needs right now, and I’m looking forward to my next marketing adventure.”
“spent time at Adshel, Pandora, Eharmony and Woolworths over the past five years” ….. plus the now defunct Ovo role.
Not a great batting average!
Is this news or someone’s CV?
Either McInnes has a good mate at Mumbrella or Mumbrella is getting into the recruitment game.
Hux, I’m a tad baffled on how our reporting Ovo’s move and her departure leads you to either conclusion.
