Nine announces Brooke Boney’s Today replacement
Nine has revealed Brooke Boney’s replacement on Today, as the presenter departs her entertainment round on the show to return to study.
Jayne Azzopardi, co-host of Weekend Today with Clint Stanaway, will be joining Today in the news chair. As announced in March, Boney is leaving Today to study at Oxford University.
Azzopardi worked at ITN, BBC, CNBC, and Al Jazeera, before joining Nine 15 years ago, where she has covered two Federal elections and several leadership changes.
Jayne and Clint should be compères on daily Today show…very easy to watch on weekend….probably half the price.

So sorry that Brooke is leaving the today show! I do hope this is temporary but at the same time Brooke must follow her dreams she’s been a great asset on the Today Show and she’ll be sadly missed! I will miss Boney. Great to see her grow on-air from her Triple J beginnings to smashing entertainment news each morning on Today.

Rene for Entertainment news don’t know about that,as for Jane as newsreader ok ,I think there is better staff @ night that could read the news and do Entertainment also Brooke managed. Suppose they owe to Jane being with network for 15 years.
