Nine slips to third as Masterchef pips Australia’s Got Talent again
Nine continues to languish in third place for the week after strong performances from Masterchef on Ten (1.519m) and Australia’s Got Talent (1.457m).
Seven won Wednesday night with a 23.2% share, above Ten’s 19.2% and Nine’s 19%.
For the week to date, Seven has its nose ahead of Ten with 21.6% share to 21.5%. Nine is on 20.4%.
Last night saw Nine News the only program for the network with more than 900,000 viewers according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.
Missed opportunity on a ‘Australia has no talent’ headline.
Nine is not going anywhere with Channel Seven bringing out the big guns in the second half of the year-Australia’s got Talent,Dancing with the Stars, footy. Nine have to stop focussing on karl and the today show and start thinking of overall performance
Help me out here but the numbers for channel share look to add up to about 100%. So who’s watching Foxtel and why aren’t the viewer numbers for it included in ratings figures? If the numbers above are just for free-to-air then that doesn’t reflect what the viewers are watching.
Wow my viewing habits must be all wrong. The only show in the top 15 i watched was Madagascar.
Agree with Chris – why aren’t we shown the full picture if we’re talking about viewing habits? Just a thought
