Nine staffer reportedly files claim against company in Federal Court

A Nine staff member has reportedly filed a claim against the media giant in the Federal Court.

According to the AFR, Nine News reporter, Airlie Walsh – who is currently on maternity leave – has filed a human rights sex discrimination case against the company.

Walsh’s lawyers declined to comment, while Nine also declined when contacted by Mumbrella on Tuesday.

Walsh had worked in a number of roles at Nine since joining in 2008, including a website producer for the Today show, and a political reporter for Nine News.
