Nine to broadcast The Greatest NRL Grand Finals in lieu of new matches

Nine has revealed its content plans as broadcasters race to fill the hole left in their schedules by cancelled sporting seasons.

With no new NRL matches to broadcast in the coming months due to COVID-19 restrictions, Nine will instead begin broadcasting The Greatest NRL Grand Finals at 7:30pm on Fridays.

It will be broadcast across Sydney and Brisbane, where NRL is more popular, and be available on 9Now for viewers in other locations.

The Greatest will be hosted by James Bracey, with a panel of NRL experts also appearing including Brad Fittler, Andrew Johns and Phil Gould.
