Nine to give Little Britain a go

lou-andy-little-britainSix years after it was created, comedy sketch show Little Britain is finally to reach a commercial free-to-air audience in Australia.  

The Nine Network is to air the show from next Tuesday at 10.30pm. The programme has previously been broadcast on the ABC and on subscription channel UKTV.

If the BBC-created show does find an audience with Nine, it has the benefit of already having three series in the bag, along with a further series of Little Britain USA.

Primarily the work of comedians David Walliams and Matt Lucas, it includes a cast of characters which became part of British catchphrase culture including:
