Nine to launch reality show about parking rangers
The TV networks have launched factual reality shows about everything from lifesavers, to the police, police dogs, vets, and now the Nine Network is developing a reality show about parking officers.
Produced by Cornerbox Productions, councils across the country have been approached to participate in the show.
It will follow the parking officers and council rangers in their day-to-day jobs which include issuing traffic fines and policing littering.
Cornerbox EP, Michael Horrocks, said: “It’s a very human look at the rangers – what they do and what they go through.”
i hope this is as good as dog squad and celebrity dog school.
wow, can’t wait for this…
with luck, Warrick Crapper might have started working for them by now.
Audrey, are you serious?
I just hope we see the car getting towed back to the impound, this is going to be riveting!
no lisa, i’m not 😉
although in a way, i am – wasn’t celebrity dog squad cancelled after about ten minutes? seems like a pretty good way for this series to go…
God help us…have the television studios/producers finally lost the plot…come up with better ideas for new shows…
I had already lost all respect for Nine’s programming, but this is the definitive nail in the coffin. Are they that desperate to fill space with cheap and easy programming? Surely there is at least something they can buy from overseas (that isn’t two and a half men). Nine is a one timeslot pony these days.
Why don’t they just call the show “The C**ts”?
