The free-to-air primary channel and network which will win the overall ratings year is still unclear, as Nine edged ahead to win its 13th survey week.

The primary channel had a share of 22.5%, ahead of Seven’s 20.1%, while the network had 31.5%, ahead of Seven’s 29.8%.

Nine also had success in the key advertising demographics, with a 24.6% share in those aged 25 to 54, ahead of Seven’s 18.1%, and Ten’s 16.2%. With the addition of multi-channels, Nine Network had 34.6% in this demographic, ahead of Seven’s 27.4%, and Ten’s 22.4%.

In the slightly younger 16 to 39s, Nine had a 24.1% share for its primary channel, however Ten edged into second with 19.4%. Seven had 17.7%.
