Nine wins Monday, while Ten’s Masterchef still dominates
Nine won Monday’s ratings race with The Big Bang Theory, repeat episodes of Two and a Half Men and A Current Affair performing well in the main advertiser-friendly demographics. However, they failed to beat Ten’s Masterchef in overall viewers.
In free-to-air TV channel share, Nine led with 25.6 per cent, followed by Seven with 22.9 per cent, while Ten was a close third with 22 per cent, according to preliminary overnight OzTam data in the main metro markets.
Among viewers 25-54s, Masterchef was number one, followed by four Nine programs – The Big Bang Theory, A Current Affair, Two and a Half Men at 7:30pm (repeat), and Two and a Half Men at 7pm (repeat).
Meanwhile among 16-39s and 18-49s, Masterchef led, followed by The Big Bang Theory, Good News Week and Two and a Half Men at 7:30pm in fourth place.
ACA no doubt fared well out of their much hyped “Exclusive” with John Ibrahim which was basically one big 6 minute promo for Underbelly, interspersed with about 1 minute total of Ben Fordham getting one word answers to questions followed by “I”m not giving you an interview, so put your camera away”
