Nine wins the night despite Ten’s reality domination

Despite the success of Ten’s reality programs and a low audience for the NRL clash, Nine managed to win Thursday night with an audience share of 19.4%, ahead of Ten’s 17.6%.

Seven managed an audience share of 16.5%, The ABC 11.7% and SBS 4.1%, according to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary metro ratings.

Channel Nine’s 7:30pm live offering of the NRL clash between the Sydney Roosters and Canterbury Bulldogs, which saw the Roosters scrape a victory, attracted 385,000 viewers across Brisbane and Sydney, bringing it to number 21 on the list of the most-watched programs.
