Nine’s A Current Affair boss steps down after Logies misstep
Amy McCarthy, the executive producer of Nine’s A Current Affair, has officially resigned, following “a rough tough week” where a series of social media posts she made during the Logies were published in News Corp mastheads.
ACA reporter Steve Marshall will step in as interim executive producer while a replacement is sought. McCarthy will stay at Nine, joining the news production team.
During the Logies, McCarthy took to her Facebook page, which is set to private, to declare: “I can get drunk now. You thought you’d been spammed before! Standby!”

Read the whole article , still trying to workout what she did wrong? In addition if I understand the article correctly , It’s her private social media account , which someone betrayed her trust and her right to expect her comments to remain private. To me this is the greater offence by far. And anyone with an Ounce of moral fiber and integrity should agree with me.
And , so what ! , if it was a Guy admiring a female singer , it’s natural to do that. Or have we forgotten how we end up making babies , if starts with attraction. Hopefully one day we’ll get a Trump like Leader and get rid of the saddest most negative , inept, people we have making our policies and lives miserable. .
