Nine’s big Thursday as Ten and Seven go AWOL
Nine was the network to have the most to be pleased with in Thursday’s TV ratings.
After a slide last week, Hamish & Andy’s Gap Year stayed the right side of the 1m mark with 1.057m viewers, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam. And The Block won the night with 1.424m viewers.
Ten’s The Renovators struggled again in the 8pm slot with 661,000. Modern Family, shifted forward to 7.30, also did poorly with 636,000.
Seven had a bad night too. Its heavily trailed US reality series Pawn Stars, featuring a family run LA pawn shop, rated just 511,000, 23rd for the night. Doco The Air War rated 598,000. Law & Order LA rated a miserable 374,000.
…is there anything good on 10, 9 or 7 at the moment?
1.4 down to 1.0 Cant believe the gap year is up there. watched some of it last night waiting for the footy show. absolute cr–. childish, boring cringeworthy tv. terrible show
I thought Gap Year was actually quite good. I laughed out loud a couple of times. Typical Hamish & Andy stuff though and perhaps you have to be a fan of them to like it.
