Nine’s no-jab ban sees presenter Tredrea walk

Sports presenter Warren Tredrea and Channel Nine Adelaide are no longer working together following the AFL legend’s criticism of the network’s vaccination policy.

In early December, the four-time All-Australian AFL star abruptly took a leave of absence after Nine implemented a mandatory double vaccination for all its employees.

Who cares what someone who is famous for being good at sport cares about science and social policy? Really?

Science is a meritocracy, just like being a full forward. But being good at one doesn’t automatically make you good at the other I would think.

So a proponent of pro-choice made a choice and it didn’t work out for him .. aww .. sorry, but I don’t have much sympathy for him. At the end of the day, good, bad or indifferent, the rules were set out in good faith to keep employees safe. Tredrea knew what the rules were and he made both an informed and conscious choice to oppose them. Good on channel 9 for following up with what they said.
