Nine’s Today Show falls below 200,000 metro viewers
Nine’s breakfast program Today managed just 199,000 metro viewers on Tuesday, despite airing across all markets.
According to OzTAM’s preliminary overnight metro ratings, the Today Show saw 320,000 viewers tune in across the nation, leaving the show 34th on the ratings ladder for Tuesday.

You say the ratings were taken Tuesday night . . . well, that’s too late for breakfast TV anyway! No wonder few viewers could be counted.
The content on this show has become repetitive and predictable. They Jump on to a cause for the day and squeeze it till its dry. It’s not must see. The project do a better job of delivering content and opinions, its much more diverse. And i think ” I WAKE UP WITH TODAY” has run its course. I think they have spent to much on talent and with little budget left for content.

Enough of the Karl and chanel nine bashing there must be a hidden agenda somewhere.
I’ve moved from Sunrise to Today but I’m not counted as I’m a regional viewer. In my opinion Sunrise are way too Sydneycentric and the same script is delivered every hour, not enough diversity and no time for decent interviews. The Today mob do a better job of interviewing and persueing a topic but I must agree that Carl’s double entendres can be childish and wearing. I’ve also watched Aunty as a comparison and while they do the serious stuff better there seems to be a discord between Virginia Trioli who tries a little too hard to be bubbly and bright and a very bland Michael Rowlings.
I dislike the continual disappointment that this show provides when Karl relentlessly bags other States, Melbourne especially. Grow up, shut up or move on. This show needs to work really hard on getting an identity Sunrise is also a terrible show, try and be more like to Project or you will continue to lose your audience.
