Ninja Warrior launches to 795,000 metro viewers after Seven wins another week

Australian Ninja Warrior returned to Nine on Sunday night, with the 2021 premiere bringing in an average of 795,000 metro viewers and 1.087 million nationally.

Numbers were down on the 2020 launch, which brought in 1.040 million metro viewers. In 2019, 1.01 million tuned in, while 929,000 watched in 2018 and a massive 1.61 million viewed the premiere in 2017.

Ninja Warrior also won the 18-49 advertising demographic, but Nine News Sunday won 15-54 and Ten’s MasterChef Australia won 16-39.
