No ratings revival for Cops LAC

Nine’s police drama Cops LAC has continued its fall down the ratings, dropping to 17th for the night with 712,000 viewers, its worst performance yet.

Rush, the Ten police drama it was scheduled against, was ninth for the night with 861,000.

Also in the 8.30pm slot, the 90 minute series debut of The Amazing Race averaged 797,000, 12th for the night for Seven, according to preliminary overnight ratings from OzTam.

In a lacklustre night for all of the networks, not a single show rated more than 1m after 7pm. Nine’s holiday show Getaway rated 772,000 while the networks best performer was The Footy Show with 968,000.
