Nova dominates at ACRAs as Kate, Tim and Marty take out Best On-Air Team

Nova’s national drive team of Kate Ritchie, Tim Blackwell and Marty Sheargold have taken home the top award at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards, winning Best On-Air Team.

The trio, who have been on air since January 2014, held off five time winners Kyle Sandilands and Jackie Henderson who present Kiis Sydney’s breakfast show and drive time rivals Hamish Blake and Andy Lee from the Hit Network.

The AM equivalent went to 2GB’s Nights with Steve Price, while fellow Macquarie Media presenter Neil Mitchell from 3AM won Best Current Affairs presenter for the fifth straight year.
