An Olympic dozen caps Seven’s week of gold in Rio

The Seven Network has capped the first week of the Rio games with Olympic broadcasts filling 12 of the top 20 spots in the weekly ratings.

Australias-Olympics-Network-SevenSeven broadcasts, including news, took 16 of the top 20 shows, with Nine making an appearance with three news broadcasts and 60 Minutes.

The day one wrap, In Rio Today, was the second most watched show of the week with 1.332m, well behind Seven’s Sunday night news with 1.629m.

Ten’s highest ranking show of the week was Wednesday night’s edition of The Bachelor, coming in as the 25th most watched show of the week with 858,000, while the ABC grabbed 23rd place with The Gruen Transfer garnering an audience of 870,000.
