OMD hires Dentsu Aegis’ Michael Pilz as head of strategy for Telstra account

OMD has hired a new strategy lead for its Telstra account hring Michael Pilz from Dentsu Aegis’ Symphony Analytics & Research.

Following a series of key hires serving to reinforce the strength of its bolstered business management community; OMD have today announced that that they have attracted top industry specialist Michael Pilz to the agency to lead the over-arching media strategy across their blue-chip client, Telstra.

Michael Pilz, joins from his position as Managing Director of Symphony Analytics & Research (a division of Dentsu Aegis Network). With more than 20 years experience in media and marketing services, Pilz was responsible for the creation of Symphony Analytics & Research, as well as being instrumental in launching and integrating the MPG brand into Australia. He brings with him a wealth of experience across the industry, including 3 years leading the Optus SingTel account at MPG.
