One day in, and banned from the AdNews Awards

Sad to say that Dr Mumbo’s new colleague Martin Lane has not been welcomed by all in the industry.

martin_laneLane – announced yesterday as the publishing director of Mumbrella’s parent company Focal Attractions – enthusiastically decided to get to grips with the industry by attending a few events including this Thursday’s AdNews Awards which he duly went online and bought a ticket for.

Sadly, it would seem that his money is no good.

Lane yesterday received a phone call from AdNews publisher Jeremy Light telling him that as a competitor he wasn’t welcome.
