OOH company Go Transit appoints Marika James as agency sales director
Sub-metro and regional OOH company Go Transit has appointed Marika James to the newly created role of Sydney agency sales director.
James moved to Sydney in 2016
James will oversee all business out of Sydney agencies across 400 submarkets around the country.
James has been with Go Transit since 2014, stepping into a sales support role straight out of university. She moved into an account manager role in the Queensland offices before taking the leap and moving to Sydney in 2016.

The fact you can’t see there is a problem IS the actual problem.
Australian Media Land is too male, pale and stale. Very little diversity.
Take a random sample of 100 companies, have a look at the senior leadership teams and tell me what you find.
Australia is living in the stone age.
Has it mattered on someone’s gender/background/race? In this instance hard work has been rewarded, regardless of the above factors. Stop trying to shut people out and tear them down.

You do know that there are still some Anglo’s and Aussies in Australia don’t you? So the probability of any hire being Anglo/Aussie is pretty high.
