Ooh Media chair Tony Faure to step down
Tony Faure
Ooh Media chair Tony Faure will leave the out-of-home company in May after eight years leading the board, with existing director Philippa Kelly moving up to replace him.
Faure, an industry veteran who was CEO of ninemsn and ANZ MD of Yahoo, has been on the Ooh board since it listed in 2014.
“It has been a privilege to have been part of oOh! since we listed in 2014, and to have been entrusted with the role of Chair for the last eight and a half years,” Faure said in a statement released to the ASX.
“As I prepare to retire from the board, I have never been more confident about the strength of Out of Home as a category, and about oOh!media’s future as a category leader.”
Faure is deeply embedded in the Australian tech and startup scene, currently chairing several organisations including former ninemsn CEO Mark Britt’s health startup Tmrw. He was the chair of incubator Pollenizer for more than a decade until 2022.

Philippa Kelly
His successor Philippa Kelly was described in the release as having “extensive executive and non-executive experience across the real estate, asset management and financial services sectors.”
Kelly is also the chair of the Investment Committee of AustralianSuper.
“I am delighted to assume the role of Chair of the oOh! Board and continue working with my fellow directors to support [CEO] James [Taylor] in executing the Company’s strategy to deliver sustainable value for our clients and shareholders,” she was quoted as saying the release.
“On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Tony for his outstanding contribution to the Company over more than a decade since its listing. Tony’s deep experience in media, marketing and technology innovation, and his exceptional guidance as Chair, have been invaluable to the Company.”
