Outsiders loses another host as Sky News dumps Ross Cameron after racist comments
Controversial Sky News program Outsiders has seen another presenter dumped, with Ross Cameron fired by the network after making racist comments about Chinese people.
The presenter and former Liberal MP was sacked after saying: “If you go to the Disneyland in Shanghai on any typical morning of the week you’ll see 20,000 black-haired, slanty-eyed, yellow-skinned Chinese desperate to get into Disneyland.”
How the hell can a wealthy ex-politician, forever sponging off the taxpayer teat, be considered an ‘outsider’? That’s the real scandal.
Another clear example of censorship, l watched that show and it was tongue in cheek stuff. What the hell have we come too. Just check what other countries we are trying to appease say about us white Christians.

Sad – I found the Outsiders to be very entertaining. Guess it’s time for Foxtel subscribers to learn how to appreciate the dreary ABC presenters giving their half wit view of the world, given that any interesting alternatives will soon be banned. We really are becoming a nation of dullard wallopers with no sense of humour.
Great point John. As a Foxtel subscriber for the last 78 years, I recently slipped and knocked the remote on to the “ABC”. Astonished to witness such a dullard walloper presenting the “news”!

I agree. Ross was great on outsiders, but now I have dropped the show, due to Rowen being a yanky lover, and against all aspects of China. Rowen calls himself an outsider, I think not.

The annoying thing is that Heads Up was axed to make way for this show, following the nightly sports show with James Bracey to add another hour to Paul Murray. I quite enjoy PM live but two hours is a stretch.
Funny that particulars comment was not offensive at all to this Chinese man. But some none Chinese people are telling me I should be offensive.
Knee jerk reaction- ABC called Kevin Bailey a c-nt and were unrepentant until a Senator made a big deal of it. They did this with taxpayer funds. Ross gets fired on a subscriber paid channel when the subscribers love him? Go figure. The shut down of free speech marches onwards and no, I won’t be tuning into ABC whose fans have no place making moral judgements on Ross.
I am absolutely devastated that Ross has been sacked from Outsiders. I enjoy the show immensely and I will miss the Rowan and Ross team. Ross is supportive of the Chinese.
He brought wit and humour to the program. – we are on a fast track of stifling humour and free speech. Am a “white” migrant myself and experienced racism from a coloured individual. Let’s go back to being sensible. Such a shame! I always found great joy in Ross’s take on current day happenings and his inimitable and intelligent way of presenting them. A most admirable mind … despite his occasional controversial flights of fancy. Racist? I think not. Anyway, Outsiders without Ross is now basically finished – his gravitas was a necessary ingredient to keep Rowan under control and Sky can start searching for a replacement vehicle.

Paul Whittaker is obviously a card carrying offenderaty, amazing how this softens ones brain, and effects judgement. Had Mister Whittaker watched Outsiders for any period of time he would appreciate that Ross Cameron is not a racist, but a terrific entertainer. For someone so easily bulldozed by the Twitter Trolls, we will soon be left with nothing but the boring ABC.

One of the joys of modern media is the on-demand character of TV. Sky and other channels with hours and hours to fill had become tedious platforms for desperate narcissists. These guys being prime examples. Imagine having them at your dinner table!

He is knowledgeable, and educated, and I only wish that he and Rowan Dean ran this country!
Their discussions and understanding of Climate Change, the Paris Agreement, and its effect on future electricity prices in Australia, show that they are two of the very few, clear thinking individuals in this country!
Neither of them have an iota of racism in them, but merely good senses of humour, which it appears is sorely lacking in Australian citizens, these days!

Can’t believe Ross Cameron has gone – the show is not the same without him. Only hope Sky sees sense and backbone and brings him back. Haven’t watched ABC since Sky became free to air – so refreshing to get another view.
So much for freedom of speech. Maybe everyone out there waiting for someone to say something that offends needs to loosen up.. Ross Cameron was very entertaining. Next will we see sky so correct in what there panel has to say the show will be no different to watching days of our dreary lives.

Sky News chief executive Paul Whittaker ought to take a hard look at himself and realise PC has now become oh so boring. One wonders how many more months it will be before it is finally thrown on the scrap heap, along with all of the other garbage the ABC, Fairfax and Guardian lefties churn out.

What is the name of the show ?? Ross was a joy to listen to and being an outsider has things to say that won’t be aired other stations, this is the whole idea of the show. These political correctness idiots are the ones to be dumped and this goes for the people who sacked Ross. We were sad to mark sacked, now to see Ross has been sacked is rediculous. This programme will be the worse for it . For goodness sake, look that the media say about Donald Trump, foul obscene statements, and it gets applauded by the media as funny. What Ross said should therefore also be looked upon in the same light, funny.
