Owner of Melbourne and Sydney’s Child magazines, Copeland Publishing, goes into liquidation
The publisher of free parenting publications Sydney’s Child and Melbourne’s Child, Copeland Publishing, has gone into liquidation.
First published in 1989 by founders Joanna Love and Gillian Hund with a circulation of 20,000, the Sydney’s Child concept was expanded into Melbourne in 1993 with Brisbane, Newcastle, Perth and Adelaide following later.
In January Australia’s only childrens’ newspaper, Crinkling News, shut down after a series of fund raising efforts.

So the AANA is now auditing circulation?
Hi JG,
I suspect you know the answer to this question already, but no the AANA does not audit circulation.
We meant the AMAA.
Thank you for flagging. I have amended.

Melbourne’s Child was a great publication. Advertised in it for years with good results. Shame to see it has folded.
