Packed To The Rafters rates with 1.4m, Today beats Sunrise again
Now into its fifth year, Packed To The Rafters remains the country’s favourite local drama, with a solid 1.412m capital city viewers tuning in last night.
The Seven program was no doubt helped by an MKR lead-in audience of more than 2m, according to early OzTam data.
But after doubts were last year raised about its future after leading cast members left the show, it has come back with a vengeance this year and was the second most-watched program of the night.
I must say I’m amazed that Rafters is still doing well, as far as I’m concerned it’s completely jumped the shark. I don’t like any of the newer characters, none of whom are much in the acting department, and even though Carbo is less annoying than he was, he’s still irritating.
I started to watch it last night, in the absence of anything else interesting, but I was totally disinterested, so gave up.
I loved its first few years, but now that the immediate family has virtually disappeared it holds little interest for me.
Hamish McLennan – welcome aboard the good ship Ten !
A 11% share and no programs in the Top 15. Shoulder’s to the wheel.
By the way – how is that Cricket negotiation coming along ?
Still love The Rafters Still a Great entertaining show love Kristian Schmid in the show he’s a great actor
Obviously Rafters is being helped by the juggernaut MKR. Obvious to all and sundry. Nothing happens on the show and there is no plot development. At least it wasnt when I last watched it a year ago. Bye
