Palau asks arriving tourists to sign environmental protection pledge in new campaign

The Pacific Island nation of Palau has redesigned its immigration policy and will ask every tourist entering the island to sign a promise on their passport to protect its fragile environment.

Created by Host/Havas, the ‘Palau Pledge’ was written with the help of Palauan children and the government and encourages visitors to be more considerate and cautious of their behaviour while travelling through the island.
