PANPA names finalists in advertising and marketing awards
PANPA has announced the finalists for its Advertising and Marketing Awards for the newspaper industry, which are handed out in September.

Finalists for this year’s prestigious PANPA Advertising & Marketing Awards were announced today for member publishers from across the Asia-Pacific region.
These awards to me are a real joke. Publishing Studios should save their entry money for reputable awards that can truly reflect the level of creative and not awards for sale to the highest bidders.
A recently deceased publication submitted over 15 pieces of work for a multitude of categories, print wraps, innovative digital, promotional microsites and more . Some of the work with incredible success in terms of revenue and its craft. none, of that work is featured on this list. However, somehow lackluster obscure pieces of work have made it on this year’s list – Creative work that would not even stand a simple Google Image Search. Perhaps, i’m getting too old, but it used to be that Scam ads were so good that people did not care that they were judging at a scam ads – now these adverts are so mediocre that we’re just left well…scammed.
