Australian cricket captain Pat Cummins is now a Prime Video brand ambassador.

The announcement:

Prime Video today announced that global cricket superstar and Australian captain Pat Cummins has joined Prime Video as its newest brand ambassador. Considered the world’s No.1 ranked bowler, Cummins has led the Australian side across Test, ODI and T20 cricket under a flawless captaincy, as showcased in Prime Video’s biggest documentary franchise in Australia, The Test Season 1 – 3, as well as Prime Video’s live and exclusive broadcast of all ICC competitions. Now, Cummins will herald his love of sport, movies and entertainment as a Prime Video ambassador until 2027.

Announced at Prime Video’s Primeville immersive pop-up experience @ SXSW Sydney, Cummins appeared alongside several home grown and international stars from some of Prime Video’s hit titles – including former Women’s Australian Cricket Captain and Prime Video Ambassador Meg Lanning, The Office Australia cast (Felicity Ward, Edith Poor, Steen Raskopoulos, Shari Sebbens, Josh Thomson, Zoe Terakes), Leah Purcell from The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, and Lincoln Younes from Last King of the Cross, – showcasing the breadth of Prime Video’s entertainment offering. In addition to being an expert spokesperson for Prime Video’s upcoming ICC World Cup coverage, Cummins will also front Prime Video’s upcoming above the line brand campaign.

“It’s incredibly exciting to be able to extend the relationship with Prime Video beyond cricket and The Test documentary series.” said Pat Cummins. “Diving into a new show or movie – whether it be binging Clarkson’s Farm, and the All or Nothing sport documentary series, or watching live sport – is one of my favourite ways to unwind away from the cricket pitch. I am looking forward to working with Prime Video team as an official brand ambassador.”

“Pat Cummins is undeniably one of the most well-respected leaders and cricket players in the world, and we are elated to welcome him to Prime Video as an official ambassador,” said Hwei Loke, head of Prime Video Australia and New Zealand. “Pat is a shining light of cricket in Australia and as a lover of live sport and entertainment, his role as ambassador is a perfect fit for Prime as we continue to expand our offerings across both live sport and entertainment.”
