Patties Group respond to data breach claims

Patties Group, the owner of iconic pie brand Four‘N Twenty, has responded to claims it was the target of a ‘third-party data breach’. 

The food manufacturing company told Mumbrella there “technically wasn’t a breach”, but that its third-party supplier Provenio.AI faced a “data exposure”. 

A Patties Group spokesperson said Provenio.ai, a service provider that boosts supply chain efficiency, amended the data exposure after Cybersecurity researcher Jeremiah Fowler reported discovering a non-password-protected database containing company data.
