WOw – thats massive.
First Adam Boland, now Peter Meakin. Game on Seven (and everyone else in FTA TV). Ten’s stepping up and ready to fight!
This is going to get interesting 😉
And why notc? Good luck Peter. I suspect you will need it.
What a Great idea.
Good get TEN.
Russell Howcroft
Adam Boland and now Meakin.
( I feel bottom cheeks tightening in TV newsrooms all over Australia.)
Jono Coleman writer/ presenter who has been lucky enough to work for all the commercial networks. (starting at TEN on Wonder World!)
Peter – time for a drink to celebrate. Let’s take a cab……..
It’s got to be good for everyone. More competition means more jobs and more opprtunities. Meakin will have a battle on his hands though. The networks are evolving rapidly and older style current affairs shows just don’t stand much of a chance as start-ups. Hope he’s got some shiny new tricks in his bag.
Good luck Peter. You’ve got a mess on your hands there with so many experienced people leaving during the last two rounds of redundancies.
