Photo competition launches to encourage mobile phone recycling
The Australian mobile phone industry is using a photo competition to encourage the recycling of the 22m devices and accessories no longer used by Australians.
MobileMuster, the official recycling program of the mobile industry, is encouraging users to upload their top six photo memories to mobilemuster.com.au to have those images turned into postcards as well as the chance to have their work displayed publicly.
In the Memory Muster campaign, competition images will be posted in an online gallery for users to vote on and be in the running for two awards which will see the top images displayed publicly and at a Memory Muster gala exhibition.
My main concern with recycling my phone is data / identity theft.
