Pitch Watch: Coles owner kicks off pitch; AFL pitches media; Priceline’s new creative shop; Guinness World Records names PR winners
Mumbrella casts an eye over the major media, creative and public relations pitches at play in market.
In this week’s wrap up: Wesfarmers (new media pitch); AFL (new media pitch/shortlist); Priceline (decided creative pitch); Optus Business (PR/social account changes); Guinness World Records (PR account win).
Wesfarmers prepares for $221m pitch
The 2016 pitch year is set to kick off with a bang with Coles owner Wesfarmers sounding out the major media agency holding groups ahead of an imminent media pitch, Mumbrella can reveal.
I would imagine Mediabrands new Melbourne Chairman will want to have a crack at the AFL but perhaps he’ll be too busy defending Coles 😐
Yay Ogilvy!
Some good news for both Melbourne & Sydney.
Impossible. UM never lose business…
A week seems a long time in advertising. This time last week Ogilvy were “vanquished” due to Optus and now they win new business on both Optus and Priceline. Lots of changes in Ogilvy I have heard and it looks like it is starting to pay off. Good on them.
not all wesfarmers is pitching? article is a little misleading
What is the size of the Westfarmers business? Is it the largest in the country?
MasterCard, Microsoft, Fed Government…
Coles should start an in house agency.
