Mumbrella’s Nic Christensen lands Nine digital comms role
Mumbrella’s media and technology editor Nic Christensen is set to take on the role of head of digital communications for Nine Entertainment Co.
Christensen will leave Mumbrella in mid-August after nearly four years with the title. His previous roles including working as journalist for News Corp’s The Australian and The Daily Telegraph.
Among the major issues Christensen led the reporting on was the ongoing question of lack of transparency in some media agency relationships with their clients. He broke the news of how a dozen staff at media agency Mediacom left the agency after campaign reports to clients were forged, a story which had major implications across the whole industry.
Huge congrats on the new role Nic – it has been an absolute pleasure working with you at Mumbrella.
Congrats Nic on the new job. Well done! It’s been great working with you at Mumbrella and I can’t wait to start working with you at Nine.
