Public most positive about Jackman

hugh_05x800 Marketers looking for the most appropriate celebrities to endorse products would be best looking towards Australian actors a new piece of research reveals.

The work by UMR Research, shows that the celeb with the highest level of positive response from the public is Hugh Jackman who scored a 74% positive score. This was followed by Cate Blanchett (64%) and Geoffrey Rush (63%).

The highest positive scoring non-actor was Andrew Denton (62%), presenter of Enough Rope and producer of The Gruen Transfer. The rest of the top ten consisted of Eric Bana (59%), Nicole Kidman (58%), Mel Gibson (54%), Kylie Minogue (53%), Guy Pearce (51%), and Elle Macpherson (51%).

The research was based on 1000 online interviews caried out during late November.
