Australia’s highest-paying agency groups revealed
The latest data from the Workplace Gender Equality Agency did not find much equality
Consultancy Publicis Sapient has once again topped Mumbrella’s list of agency group pay rankings, with its average salary rising 27% last year to $214,000 in 2024–25.
Data from the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) showed that the average pay across 22 advertising and media agencies was $145,136. Publicis’ technology arm led the sector, followed by AKQA at $166,000 and TBWA Sydney at $163,000.
While Sapient is included in the data as sitting in “Advertising Services”, the group has more in common with consultancies such as Accenture (average pay $213k), a fact which probably explains its appearance as an outlier in the graph below.
