Publift CEO steps into advisor role, new general manager appointed

Adtech company Publift has announced the appointment of a new general manager as its founder and CEO transitions into a different role, Mumbrella can reveal.

Colm Dolan, who founded the company in 2015, is moving to the role of strategic advisor, while Ben Morrisroe, who has been with the company for over five years, will take on the managerial position.

Starting at Publift in 2019 as a marketing coordinator, Morrisroe quickly demonstrated his drive and ambition.

After just four months, he approached Dolan and asked: “How can I make the biggest impact on the business?”

He quickly advanced to publisher development lead, then head of sales and marketing, and by 2023, he moved to head of growth.

In the general manager role, he will be responsible for overseeing general operations, strategic planning, and continuing the company’s mission to empower publishers to maximise their ad revenue.

“I am honored and excited to lead Publift as we embark on this new chapter,” Morrisroe said.

“I look forward to building on the strong foundation that Colm has established and working with our talented team to continue delivering revenue growth for our clients.”

Dolan will remain fully engaged with the business, serving as the strategic advisor and customer advocate. He will continue to provide strategic oversight and ensure Publift remains on its path of growth and innovation.

“I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished at Publift since its inception,” Dolan said.

“Ben Morrisroe is the right person to lead the company into its next phase of growth.

“His experience and fresh perspective will be invaluable in driving our mission forward.”
