Queensland dentist’s TV ad banned for exploiting women
Moranbah Dental, a Queensland dentist, has had one of its television ads banned for using sexual appeal in a manner which was exploitative.
The commercial features a man sitting on a park bench as he watches women walk past. As one of the women puts money in his cup, a voiceover says “What does your smile say about you?”

However unsophisticated this TVC might have been, presumably there was a woman employed to feature in the TVC, and very likely women employed to produce, shoot and edit the TVC, along with women in media placement, broadcasting and to write this article for Mumbrella. That’s a train-load of women who haven’t been “exploited” but who have benefited professionally from gainful, paid employment. What a topsy-turvy confused world this is! And once again, the unelected, unaccountable AANA imposes its bitter leftist prejudices upon the whole community.
Mansplaining about a ”train-load of women who haven’t been “exploited”‘ is about as much as I can take of comments, today.
