Ten has announced Rachel Griffiths and Anthony LaPaglia have been cast in the forthcoming tele movie Underground, based on the early life of Julian Assange as a computer hacker.

Underground will commence shooting over four weeks as of Monday 16 April in Melbourne.

Griffiths will play Assange’s activist mother Christine Assange while LaPaglia will play detective Ken Roberts.
