Australian Radio Network’s 97.3FM has held onto its FM ratings crown in Brisbane, despite a 1.5 per cent drop in audience in the fifth ratings survey of the year, but it is the ABC’s Spencer Howson who was the biggest winner of the survey.

The drop off for 97.3FM was across all their major programming, with some shows such as the afternoon program with Greg “Hinksy” Hinks falling 2.6 per cent, and comes after the last survey saw the station surge 1.4 per cent.

While ARN maintained its top place, AM station ABC 612 was the big winner in this survey with a rise of 1.6 per cent to 10.8 per cent points while Southern Cross FM station B105 dropped 0.7 per cent to 9.4 per cent. Nova’s 106.9FM was largely unchanged on 11.7 per cent up 0.1 per cent.
