Nine’s Friday night airing of the Australian Open managed to draw in 791,000 metro viewers with help from Rafael Nadal and Alex de Minaur as they went head to head at the Rod Laver Arena.
According to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary metro ratings, 830,000 metro viewers tuned in to watch Rafael Nadal and Alex de Minaur’s match alone.
Night five of the Australian Open was the second most watched program of the evening as 1.092m viewers watched across the nation.
