Rafters more than doubles Top Gear’s audience
Top Gear saw a drop in audience for Nine on Tuesday night to 762,000 as viewers opted for Seven’s Packed To The Rafters (1.7m) or Ten’s NCIS (1.1m).
From next week, Packed To The Rafters, which is usually the most viewed show of the week, will go on an early season break to make way for Seven’s new drama Winners & Losers.
My Kitchen Rules also performed well for Seven, delivering an audience of 1.4m, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.
Ten’s Talkin’ Bout Your Generation rated 905,000.
Get into gear or get out.
Worlds most popular programme my ar$e.
TopGear has a loyal following and will bounce back next week. Packed to the Rafters is a juggernaut – even a live docco featruing Charlie “Hef” Sheen’s live-ins playing Twister would struggle against.
top gear is the best show ever!
the problem is that channel 9 bought the show/rights from SBS and then claimed new episodes, which was false as all the ones they did start with had already been aired on SBS, then they thought it would be a great idea to flog it to death by showing it 4 nights a week, well done guys!
finally 9 did air new episodes, thankfully, luckily for 9 that us loyal top gear followers will put up with there brilliant boardroom decisions.
