Ramsay’s Costa Del Nightmares watched by 719,000 on Seven as ABC share dives

The premiere of Seven’s Ramsay’s Costa Del Nightmares at 9pm was watched by 719,000 metro viewers after 1.417m metro viewers tuned in for My Kitchen Rules at 7.30pm, overnight preliminary OzTam ratings show.

However the new Gordon Ramsay show was out-rated by a repeat episode of The Big Bang Theory at which pulled in 741,000 metro viewers for Nine at 9.10pm. A new episode of the US sitcom at 8.40pm was the second-most watched non-news show of the evening with a metro audience of 965,000 while a second repeat at 9.40pm was watched by 572,000.

Seven still managed to win the night, with an audience share of 23.9 per cent while Nine settled for a share of 20.5 per cent. Ten claimed third place with a share of 13.9 per cent while the ABC slipped below double digits with a share of 9 per cent.
