Ray Martin to lead ABC Q&A review, as program EP given warning over broadcast
The board of the ABC has this afternoon issued a statement on the controversy surrounding political talk show Q&A and the appearance of former terrorism suspect Zaky Mallah.
In the statement, the board of the public broadcaster announces that television journalist Ray Martin and former SBS managing director Shaun Brown will lead the review and also reveals that Q&A executive producer Peter McEvoy has received a formal warning for misconduct.

Might these gentlemen not be thought to have, er, certain difficulties in remaining objective in making judgements about the activities of the ABC?
My first thought, Paridell. Surely if they wanted an “independent” review they should have selected independent people, [edited by Mumbrella]?
Clearly the ABC has learned the techniques of self-interest and board-stacking from those more experienced at such things.
Although the ABC are just beginners, because Tony and The Boys would have stacked with more bias.
Maybe B1 and B2 weren’t available?
